Mi favorito hasta el momento. Acción trepidante desde el principio, con ambientación en lugares interesantes y muy diferentes entre sí: Wimbledon, Cuba, Miami y Rusia. Con un montón de deportes y situaciones de riesgo que hace que no quieras dejarlo de lado.
El peligro en esta entrega me pareció mucho más real y que estaba en juego algo más grande que en los anteriores, al fin y al cabo estamos hablando de bombas nucleares. Hasta el villano y su relación con Alex me gustó mucho, no es la típica.
Lo que más me chirrió fue que todos los villanos (y en esta entrega aparecen bastantes) sean todos de nacionalidades "extranjeras": México, Rusia, China... Alguna vez los malos tendrán que provenir de dentro digo yo.
Muy disfrutable.

Great third book in the series, this was probably alex toughest mission so far. He had multiple enemies to deal with in this one and all of them were tough.
So, I do think this is the first villain so far that feels real. Maybe I’m biased but the way that he latched onto Alex as a replacement for his son was my favorite bit. I also enjoy seeing changes in the way that Alex and a member of MI6 are seeing the usage of him as a weapon as a terrible choice.
Those discussions almost make the appalling propaganda worth it because it feels realistic.

So far, of the first three books in the series, Skeleton Key had the weakest plot and villains. Some of the action scenes and themes were cool but were hampered by an underwhelming story. New side characters didn't add much to the story, and it seems as though this book only served as a bridge to have more character development for Alex.

This was a good installment int he series so far, we see Alex really age and have adult feelings about what he's been put through so far in his life which was very unexpected for a middle grade read.
But I do think this book was very slow at the beginning and didn't get very interesting until the second half.

Less enjoyable than the first book in the series.
This one started off well but then turned into a boring version of Dr. No. The villain felt generic and the threat was unimaginative. There also wasn't much growth in the Alex Rider character since the first book.
It's a plot-heavy book so I wasn't expecting a lot of depth, but this one felt too flimsy to me.
