I was completely sucked in from the very beginning!!! Angee did an amazing job bring the characters to life!!! I love that she created Rose to be a strong independent woman even though she has an entire family to protect her. Starting book two right now and will probably be up all night reading it!! Way to go Angee!!!

I was asked to review “Hidden Secrets”. I liked the concept of this vampire story. Angee gave her vampires some new qualities that I really enjoyed. However, this story needs some fine tooth editing. There are a lot of grammar issues that made me irritable. I didn’t feel any chemistry between Rose and Caleb. They meet for all of five minutes and go their separate ways for years and when they get back together they profess how they loved each other upon their first meeting. Huh??? I so didn’t get that from the brief encounter. Caleb’s character is overly possessive which I did not care for. For those who know me and my reading habits, you are probably saying, “What, but you loved Christian Grey!” This is true but Caleb was not a charming, sexy, tragic-past-explains-his-actions type of possessive. Caleb answered her calls, ordered her food, was overly familiar with her family upon first meeting them, and his I’ll-take-care-of-everything attitude was scary. I also felt the storyline was split into two separate stories. In the beginning this character is stalking Rose and by mid story that plot is completed for a new plot to begin. Several of the characters’ dialogues were so long they became monologues. Amid all this I rather liked Rose’s character…aside from her allowing Caleb to take control of every situation. I really liked all of her lethal gadgets. I give “Hidden Secrets” 2/5 stars. With a little more editing and attention this story would be a lot better.
