This is a cute, quick read with strong "You've Got Mail" vibes, so that's fun! I have enjoyed other books by this author more, but this was pleasant as a quick Regency fix when you feel like escaping into that world for just a little while.

I just don't understand why Goodreads doesn't have .5's in their rating system already! It cannot be that hard to add that! :(
This short story would definitely be a 4.5 for me would the goodreads rating system allow me to put that in. I would say it's for the fans of clean historical romance, the fans of slow-burn, the fans whose hearts skip a beat on every small interaction between two main characters and who like the satisfaction of them finally getting together in the end in a very uncomplicated and sweet way. It reminded me a bit of Edenbrooke and maybe a very tiny bit of Pride and Prejudice so I found it a very sweet and cute short romance and it made me want to go on to read the entire series.

I am upset that this book was not longer. I enjoyed it, it was playful, the characters engaging and interesting. Neither of the characters were exessively uncertain or insecure, which is truly a breath of fresh air in the romance genre. I love that Griffin was so open and joyous. I am so tired of broody, closed off hero's. It was a delight.

This is a charmingly sweet story about friendship turned into courtship. It is a very enjoyable audiobook.

Super cute and enjoyable read! I think it got better as it went on. Loved the letters they sent to one another. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a short, fun, clean read.

Although this is a shorter work (novella length), I was thoroughly drawn into Phoebe and Griffin's love story. Both are likable characters and I had all the feels for them throughout the book. Exactly what I am looking for in a romance.

I have yet to be disappointed by one of Sally Britton’s books. I loved the premise of this book and I am looking forward to reading the rest of the stories in the series. Some novellas seem to lack detail or emotion but that is not the case here. I would definitely recommend this one for a quick enjoyable read!
