Just happened to pick this as an audiobook. It was entertaining and turned out to be the 13th in a series of mysteries about a sheriff in norther Minnesota. He's half Ashinaabe Ojibwe with a family. Not top level but pretty good stories. So now we're starting back with #1.
Not my favorite Cork book. I still like William Kent Krueger's writing style but this one was just an average read to me. Very predictable in some ways but at the same time I had a hard time with grasping the motive behind the killer.
