You’re just thrown into the story immediately, no build up whatsoever. We meet our main character who’s a mermaid who loves to lure and kill men. Her latest kill was uncovered and she’s not sure what’s to unfold around that. Meanwhile, she’s just found her next target Cameron but comes to find he’s different than most of her victims. The ending was so good I’m now on to the next!

Oh Jincey that last half was a virtual roller coaster! So here we have Gia. She's a mermaid and a serial killer. When the body of her last lover surfaces, Gia's cushy little life threatens to be uprooted. Her sexy new beau, Cameron, and his reporter sister, Harper, are not really helping the situation either. The one thing I didn't like about this book was that it took me a REALLY long time to actually like and want to root for Gia. I was super confused for a while. Does she hate men? Does she like men? Does she just like sex? In the end though, all the questions were answered for me, and I ended up liking her. Recommended.

I have a love-hate relationship with this book. I didn't like the characters. Most of them were selfish, cold and unbelievable, namely the main character, Gia. But I did appreciate the writing style and the story was very, very good. I stayed up all night to read the book and am left stunned at the ending.

Quick easy read by an author I have never read. She did a nice job of building the characters in her book and keeping my interest I don’t usually read paranormal books but it was good. I won it as a Goodreads giveaway, my first time of winning the giveaway.
