This book was not for me. There was no plot. I did not feel attached to the characters. It was a comfort read, and felt cozy, but the plot frustrated me and I wanted to be done with it. I thought we would learn more about Shiba, but no. I’m glad I tried it, cause it’s a bit out of my reading comfort zone, but it wasn’t it for me.

Heartwarming.

Though it was quite hard to connect the characters together for each chapter (maybe cause of being unfamiliar with Japanese names).

It felt like I was watching a slice of life anime with relatable topics and charming characters.
