Owen & Gail Carpenter seem to have it all - a great marriage, fantastic kids, nice home, nice....everything. Including nice - if boring - sex. Owen’s eyes are opened when he comes across a sexy story written by his wife and he’s more than intrigued by the thought that his own wife is into types of loving that aren't as predictable as he’d thought. In fact, she’s ratcheted his arousal to such a level, he can’t wait to find out if what she truly wants her passionate tale reveals.

This was my first story by Morgan Sierra AND first Ellora’s Cave Quickie - I was not disappointed at all! Yes, I admit it; I was an ECQ “virgin” but let me tell you, Beneath His Touch has popped my cherry so to speak, and I’ve quickly developed a taste for the fast- paced tales laced with more than enough sex to make a seasoned pro blush. I’m not one hundred percent certain what I enjoyed more. Was it the hot, hot, (did I mention hot?) sex? Or was it that it was between a couple that had clearly been married for some time. I think it was a little of both. It’s always thrilling to see that “happily ever after/for now” when a couple gets together initially, but we all know that long term relationships take real work. You’re going to settle in to routines to fit your lifestyle, and unfortunately uninspired sex can be one of those “ruts” you find yourself in. It was exciting and refreshing to see that not only was Owen shocked that he didn’t know his wife as well as he’d assumed, but that he was as delighted at what he’d learned as he appeared.

My only issue was that I wanted to see what happened the next night in their bedroom, but it in no way reflected on Ms. Sierra. She packed a full story into a short format and even though it was only 69 pages (yes, I see the irony there too), I never felt cheated. If you want a quick read that will warm your heart and set your pants on FIRE, pick up Beneath His Touch by Morgan Sierra - but have something to fan yourself nearby; you’ll need it!
