Thank you to Netgalley for the second book in this Mermaid series. Honestly, I requested it because of my love for mermaids and also Italy/NYC (which is book 3).

It was a quick and easy read starting almost immediately where book 1 left off. Our mermaid is trying to hide from the paparazzi as rumors swirl around the disappearance of the man she loves. Of course, we never really know if she is to be blamed but new characters are brought in who take the story to a different level.

It wasn't my favorite read but it was enjoyable enough that I need to read the 3rd book to find out what happens next.

Another Femme Fatal sensation!
I got the honor of sensitivity reading this book and I got all caught up in the twist and turns of this book.
Gia is hiding all over Europe after the craziness of book 1. Witnessing the her journey was insane, a bit of a mind f*ck, and so exciting. The villain in this book is extremely disturbed and very unhinged, he makes Gia look like an innocent lamb and that says a lot. LOL!
This series is turning out to be this merge of Killing Eve, Sirens, Pretty Little Liars, all stirred together with a sprinkle of sex clubs lol. It is as bizarre as I just noted but deliciously so, and very addicted. This book had SO much action towards the end I found myself pacing the room as I held my kindle. If you enjoyed the first book, this takes off right where it left off and is so solely unique, which I love, because the story line is NOT repetitive at all.
Our favorite villainous Gia is up to no good as usual but it is oh so easy to be invested in her wins! Def recommend.

The second is even better than the first. More mystery and more high stakes! There’s about two subplots going on which is good. There are things in this book that I couldn’t see coming at all!
