This is such a gem of a book. It was exactly what I needed. Throughout the book, I felt my heart grow to love the main character (I don't believe she was named) a little bit more with each page. It was a lovely portrait of neurodiversity. It was beautifully told and felt. It was full of love, hope and happiness in being who you truly are. I highly encourage others to read it. It was quirky, fun and lovable. And so, so much more.

I love this book, it is so unique and I felt like it was holding up a mirror to myself that was finally free of dirt and debris for the first time in my life.

The nameless protagonist is neurodiverse, a viewpoint I have never read from before. Her whit, openness and honesty is refreshing. All of her anecdotes made me reflect on my own experiences in life, especially with ex-partners. It is all mostly internal dialogue, with parts of conversation weaved in; but my favourite character (feline companion) was definitely Porkchop! All I would change is for it to be longer, as it is set in one night. I wish I could’ve known what’s in her future!

I very much encourage you all to grab a copy and check out the UK cover which is BEAUTIFUL 😍✨

Thank you to @scribe_uk for sending me this copy! #gifted
