THIS. WAS. INTENSE.
This was an emotional absolutely heart wrenching story of once in a lifetime type of love, grief, loss & second chances. I cried not just small tears NO this gave me chest pains, ugly tears - it was that ✨painful✨. Adrian is one of the most beautiful hero’s I have ever read and I missed him so much. His love for Nadia is truly encompassing and so so pure

The Cabin is a heartbreaking and devastating story of loss, but it’s also a beautiful, emotional story of healing, hope and a second chance at love. I loved this story and I loved the emotions it invoked. The story telling was captivatingly beautiful and heartfelt.
I loved the concept of this story, the writing, the characters and the outcome. I really enjoyed reading it and it was very hard to put down. It's an incredibly moving and beautiful story with all the feels, and written with so much heart. I simply adored it.

I don't know why I read this entire book to be honest. The saddest part was when Adrian died, but the rest of the book just got underneath my skin. I just didn't like how the guys talked about the girls, I didn't very much enjoy the dialogue between Tess and Nadia, and sometimes it felt forced. The constant meandering about how tiny Nadia was as well, really rubbed me the wrong way. I understand that she's grieving, that she cannot eat, but you could just leave it at that. I thought it was a good idea, but it just wasn't my favourite thing in the world.
Also, the detail about Nadia's dad literally changed halfway through the book. First he died when she was six and then later it was when she was a teenager??? Unless of course that was for Nathan's dad, but I swear it was her POV when that was said.

heartbreaking & healing. from the moment I picked up this book it stirred emotions in me. I fell in love with the characters and the writing was absolutely beautiful. grief is such a complex thing but was well discussed in this book, and healed pieces of me that I didn’t even realize were still broken. I’m so glad I picked it up and read it in its entirety and I’m sure I will find myself reading it again.

As much as I saw the hype over this book saying it was super good, I have to have an unpopular opinion on this one. Yes it was good but not like I was blown away and shocked by this one. It was an average read for me and I was expecting what was going to happen pretty quickly. Yes it was sad and heartbreaking and I would never want to go through that in real life. Overall, good book, story was written well. I really felt bad for Nadia and for losing Adrian, definitely something I would never want to go through myself.

When I saw the cover of this book, I was immediately fascinated. After reading the book description I knew this book was different than my normal reads. But somehow this book pulled me in. And I was super excited when I was able to start reading.
Let me start by saying this book would be hard to read in a normal situation.. But since I’m pregnant, my hormones are going through the roof at times, and this book just made me ugly cry a lot of times. Boy it was hard! But in a beautiful way for sure.
‘The Cabin’ has different parts, and we meet three people. Adrian, Nadia and Nathan. Without giving to much away, in the first part we read about Nadia losing her husband. She is devastated, and has trouble moving on. But her husband has thought of everything, and tries to help her move on even though he is gone.
This book was such an emotional one to read and even now, days later I’m thinking about it. I loved the way Jasinda Wilder was able to make me love all three these characters so much. Her writing kept me hooked from the moment I started reading, till the moment I finished reading it. It was just such an intense read, it’s hard to describe just what this book did.
The main character Nadia is a nurse, and as a nurse myself I felt even more connected to her character than I probably would have had if she wasn’t a nurse. Her husband was her soulmate, when they weren’t together they both felt off.. so when he died, her reason for living was just gone. And my heart broke for her.
I loved how Nadia’s husband was able to give her this beautiful gift even though he was gone. He was just so selfless and caring.. It touched me how he wanted to take care of her above everything else.
If you’re looking for a beautiful and romantic read, ‘The Cabin’ is definitely one for you. If you’re pregnant.. maybe just wait a little longer! LOL!!
