This book took me days to stop talking about, I think I convinced about twelve people to read it. It's such a cool take on the multi-dimensional thriller with some aspects I hadn't seen before. I am proud to say that I saw TWO plot things coming and that makes me happy. Because of this book, Blake Crouch is pretty much on my auto-read list now.

There are several realities that just rip your frooken heart out and stamp on it, it leaves you with questions and arse backwards arguments you want to have with the characters and just. Wow. Yes. Do.

A sci-fi thriller, this book kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. It was interesting and well-written. The story is compelling, unsettling, and fantastical. parts of the science-y description/explanation were outside my realm of comprehension but all in all this book is incredibly accessible to all readers. The chapters are really long but the writing style made the book fly by for me.

WOW I am blown away by the layers of emotion that were scattered through this epic multiverse story. I love how the plot kept surprising me and the way the multiverse concept was handled was very smart, which added a lot to an already exciting story.

I wasn’t expecting this introspective take on how much of who we are is our choices and how much is fate, and the reflection on what identity really means all added some wonderful depth. Loving it all. 10/10 experience, I loved every moment.

A very interesting read. I loved the use of the multiverse here, it was imaginative and gripping. The story surprised me at multiple points. Our primary Jason did irritate me at times, and I could have done with less romance in the book. But overall, good read.

Really struggled reading this book because I wasn’t in the right mental mind space to read something this intense & dark but also because I felt as if I knew where it was going in the beginning. I will say I was surprised by the book as it started to delve deeper into the science (which was super hard to understand ps) and picked up more speed but it did spiral out of control as the climax happened.

I am grateful for the happy ending however. It was intense reading all the other Jasons coming out of the woodwork to basically force Daniela and Charlie to stay with them instead but I liked the ending scene with all of them parting to give them a path.

I felt the exploration of different realities was only interesting to read when Jason was with Amanda and I wish she had stuck around but hopefully she’s happy somewhere. Also, the whole security craziness of the lab Jason2 came from was never fully explained - why were they just killing everybody?!
