It's not like I'm *surprised* that Reid has ripped my heart out (again) (in a good way), but it's like I wasn't expecting it. And so here I am at 2am, crying into my pillow (again) (in a good way.)

I just finished this novel, and finished weeping! The strong amazing love between Joan and Vanessa is beautifully portrayed, and their fierce desire to show that lovely openly is sorrowfully still highly relevant in today's world. The space details are well done. The character of young Frances is wonderful.

I started writing down my fav quotes but then it started to be whole pages, the entire book really. TJR’s writing is so poetic & beautiful & gut-wrenching. The metaphors, the lessons, the love. I have no words. Just tears. So good!!!!!!!
