I need an epilogue or novella or something!!! I can’t leave these characters!

I loved the romantic relationship and the bond between Joan and her niece. Unfortunately, anything NASA- or space-related was either boring or corny. Perhaps I've been too spoiled by the author making me care about topics I have never cared about before.

On a side note, I was personally bothered by the complete lack of acknowledgement of the first two women to go to space (Valentina Tereshkova and Svetlana Savitskaya), especially given how much emphasis this book placed on women's achievements. I guess women's accomplishments only matter if they are made by Americans, right?
Also, can we stop portraying American war criminals as heroes, please?

“I feel like I could know you forever and still be curious about what you're going to say next.”

Characters-10

I loved the characters in this! Joan and Vanessa were great, and I loved each of their personalities. The supporting characters in this like Griff, Lydia, Antonio, Jack, and Frances were great and added their own energy to the story.

Setting/Atmosphere-10

I loved the setting in this. I've never been to where this story takes place, but I felt like I had because of all the locations. I loved seeing both the inside of the homes and the space center, and the outside locations.

Writing-10

I love Taylor Jenkins Reid's writing. This book had a lot of emotional tension that I enjoyed, and there were other scenes that caused tension between the family. Atmosphere had a mixture of fun and light scenes that showed the team bonding. For me, this book with briming with the perfect balance of lighter scenes, and scenes with emotional depth.

Plot-9

I enjoyed the story of this. It was the perfect balance of space, and finding what you want. I loved the journey of the characters over this story.

Enojyment-9

Overall, this was an enjoyable book. I loved the characters, and ended up enjoying the story once it got going.
