SPOILERS!!!!! I really didn’t expect the ending but it made me more sad than intrigued. I felt so bad for the young Zoe who was taken advantage of. I also felt like they threw a lot of things in the end that I didn’t have time to process. But it was pretty good!

I really enjoy stories that are current to Greek myths or are retellings, this has interesting elements, but also has assumed knowledge of Tennyson, Eleusinian Mysteries, and Cambridge University. It's not necessarily over your head if you don't know these things, but I wonder if things went over my head because of my limited knowledge of these central points. 

The red herring within the red herring that Zoe was behind it all and Sebastian didn't sit with me and felt under-developed or confusing. With the male voice, it felt like it was trying to trick you into thinking it was Foster but maybe it was Fred and was rather disappointed it was Sebastian, but also explained the way in each he was featured in the book. I was rather confused about how the group and Foster connected with his plan with Zoe, that was an odd left turn.

  Overall, an engaging read, but felt a bit let down by the ending.

One of the best thrillers I've ever read. Twist was incredible and not predictable at all. I thought I had it solved so many times, but I was way off, which just goes to show how great the twists are.
