Michaelides’ endings are always so unexpected! The middle was definitely slow, though.

Greek mythology and murder I couldn't ask for much more! This is a great introduction to Greek mythology as it is sub theme in the book. We follow Mariana who is a group therapist who's niece Zoe is studying at Cambridge University. Mariana is bought to Cambridge when one of Zoe's closest friends suddenly is murdered. Mariana soon becomes involved in the investigation and is certain that Edward Fosca is the murderer who runs a cult with some of his favourite students. The book is twisty and the main twist is very cleaver and disturbing.

Honestly the first thriller I’ve read in a while where the twist ending I did not see coming at all. It actually slapped me in the face. Maybe not who but the why. That was insane. Makes me want to read it again to see where all the little clues could’ve been. It definitely made you think there could’ve been so many different possibilities

I can not STAND open ended books. I read Alex’s last book quite a while ago so I can’t remember if we heard anything about Zoe in there but I slightly remember Theo. But I want to desperately know what happens next
