I gave this book 3.5 stars but rounded down to 3 because it was closer to 3 than 4 for me.
I enjoyed this book for what it was, a quick and fun read. It isn't the best book by Alexandra Bracken but I liked it nonetheless.

Cute. Lots of good ideas, but it sometimes I felt like I'd missed something.

This was a so/so read for me. I don't know if I just wasn't in the mood for it or fighting a reading slump but I struggled to get through this. The last 100 pages or so were really good and I felt like they kind of put the storyline in high gear, but the rest of the book kind of dragged for me. I will still read the next book in the series and would recommend this to others.
