The Paris Apartment

This was a very steady read. It seems more calm of a story when compared with The Nightingale or All the Light We Cannot See. I wish there was more detail and story on what happened to Sophie and maybe even POVs from William but the story was still very good because you can feel the heartbreak.

I do love a good female spy story and this was an interesting concept finding the apartment of art.
That being said by the end still so many unanswered questions. Why did Estelle never go back to the apartment? Where did all the art come from?
Alas not answered. I also feel like this is the third version of perhaps the same or similar story. Nevertheless it was well constructed and it was a compelling read

Wasn't sure what to expect with this book, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great historical fiction without being too optimistic, too dark, or too unrealistic. Definitely worth a read.

I liked how we were able to discover and unravel Estelle's story as Aurelia does. I wished that Aurelia would be able to have know how much good her grandmother did for people. I loved hearing Estelle's story and seeing how the apartment ended up the way it was
