I thought this was a fascinating concept that was well-executed overall. It felt very true to what little of LA I know. Some of the flashbacks felt unnecessary. The parents felt a little too vague to be real people - they seemed like props for the protagonist's life.

This is my second book from this author and I am not disappointed. I enjoyed reading Daphne's love journey since she just totally surrenders to those notes she receives until she meets her potential one. In my opinion, the characters seem likable and enjoyed each of their personailties (espcially Daphne's dog, Murphy). Also, I am so glad we got to know the background story of each guy she got a slip for.

My favorite scene is when she had a heart felt conversation with her Dad. I enjoyed the rawness between the two because I think about my conversations between my mom and I.

Overall, it was a fast and easy read. Can't wait to read more of her books.
