This one felt a bit rushed at the end. I was expecting more! Kinda bummed because the characters were two of my faves.

Fun story with great characters. Loved his devotion for her, a great book bf.
My least favorite so far in this series. Which sucks because I really liked Tink and Hook. They just kept alluding to all this history that they are and that shaped them but didn’t actually show it or explain it in a way that gave emotional connection for the audience.
The sex was fun but felt a little impersonal. I ended up being more intrigued by Gaeton every time he was involved
Peter was the bad guy but was not remotely active in the story for over 80%. He literally was not physically around but once in 90% of the story. And no real examples or explanations as to why exactly he was so terrible. Again just alluding to him being terrible and abusing Tink and others but not enough details to make you invested.
I wish they would have fleshed out why exactly Tink liked Hook and vice versa. What exactly drew them or connected them from their past! I kept waiting for a big reveal of some kind of traumatic past incident or something.
My petty rant…Tink never in the 5 years she was protected under Hades considered her next steps of safety?? Like she admits to never learning any self defense or even weapon training. She’s just up in the air after her established 5 years is up. Come on! That literally goes against her characterization.
This wasn’t bad but I just didn’t feel connected to the characters or story as much as I wanted and honestly expected after the first two books which I really enjoyed. I’ll keep reading of course. Sometimes in an interconnected series of standalones I just have a miss

My favorite of the series so far. Something about Tink and Hook's chemistry I really connected with. I liked Tink's personality and overall backstory. Peter as the villain was fun. He always gave me bad vibes in the original story.
By far my favorite book of this series so far! I feel like the spice scenes got pulled back some and allowed for more of a plot that I loved. Probably one of the best re-telling of this fairy tale that I have read! The sentence that was just *chiefs kiss* "I want to live not-happily-ever-after with you"
