Stunning! I love the Hook retellings so much.
After reading Hunt on Dark Water, pirates are a yes from me. So a story about Hook and Tink? Count me in. This series is so good. A twist on Disney retellings where the villain ends up with the girl?! YES. I also love how all of these stories involve the same characters. I get to meet them all and stick with them throughout! If you want to read these for plot, don't. They hardly have any plot at all, but they are still enjoyable reads lol.

A Worthy Opponent-1⭐️- no. From the plot. To the dialogue. To the voices of the narrators. Just no. Big cringe.

2.5/5 stars!
This was so disappointing. I actually really liked the premise and Hook and Tink and the first bit was so good it was so promising and then it just went so down hill. It became cringy at times and certain things just are not for me at all. I also felt it was very anticlimactic and I skipped some of the last 100 pages.

I read this book so fast and I enjoyed it immensely!
3 things I liked about it:
- I always love a hate to love romance. The way Tink rejects Hook at the start even though she's attracted to him was great!
- I really liked that Tink had some trauma from her past with Peter, which we she her dealing with (I mean I didn't like-like that Tink had a hard time with her trauma, but I liked it for the story)
- and I overall just enjoy how Katee Robert takes elements from the Disney stories and reinterpret them and puts it to use in a different way
I wished we got to meet Wendy, but sadly we only got some mentions of her.
