Beautifully written and something I needed to read and didn’t know I did. Life isn’t perfect but it’s not supposed to be and this book embodied that completely. From the characters trying their best to the writing the book had me laughing and crying.

I am so impressed by these characters. They are flawed, they are interesting, they seem well flushed out. It's goofy and sad at the same time because it's dealing with serious topics

This book try to tell the line between annoying and amusing for its characters. For me it was just annoying. I normally enjoy quirky character driven mysteries. And I love locked mysteries. But I found these characters grading. I did not want to spend time with them at all and had to force myself to finish this book. I wish they made a few of the characters less quirky or more subdued. The book concept was good, but I wanted it to be shorter. Most of the book is pages and pages of dialogue. That means nothing because all of the characters talk too much and say very little.
