This was my first book by Amber Kelly and I will tell you it won’t be my last. I’ve had this one sitting on my tbr list for forever and am kicking myself for waiting so long to read it! I was hooked immediately. It was pretty much a one sit read for me. I Love a small town romance with close friends/family. This one surely did not disappoint! I found myself chuckling and feeling all the feels! I definitely recommend this one! Off to read the next book!

I loved this small town romance from Amber, this was my first book from her and I am invested in the town of Poplar Falls. Sophie and Braxton’s story is full of secrets, lies and healing and I enjoyed their journey to find their happy ending. I enjoyed the narration from Robin Verne and Noah Michael Levine. Can’t wait to check out more from this story.

So good, got it because of the amazing cover but the book was so wonderful. Finished it all in one sitting, can not wait for more by Amber Kelly.

the male main character acted like he was too big for his britches and i really wanted the female main character to take him down a few pegs but that never fucking happened… the world revolved around the dude and it was so nauseating.. also just bc you can write male pov doesn’t mean you should.. he would be so condescending and rude to her and for what reason?? bc she left when she was twelve to go to nyc?? that wasn’t her fault?? i can excuse the fmc bc of her trauma with her dads side of the family but the mmc had no reason to be a fucking asshole.. also i just *know* all the characters voted for trump.. like this was the whitest book i’ve ever read and just bc it’s a small town doesn’t mean you can’t bring diversity and inclusion.. i hated this book it was gross.: one star
