It was good, it was fluffy, it was the perfect big city girl returns to the small town and finds love with a cowboy moment.

2.75 I liked it, but it wasn’t my favorite read by far. It felt like I was missing important details in both Sophie and Braxton’s thoughts and feelings about everything that was happening. Also, the character development for both main characters wasn’t fleshed out enough for their relationship to make sense. They very quickly, with little real conversation or interaction, went from hating each other to sleeping together.

A pretty little small-town cowboy type romance if thats what you're looking for

I needed something low stakes. Ya know, in a bad place, mentally, and I just want a love story without 10 miles of depressing tension and no third act breakup.
This delivered that. I'm hoping the next in the series is the same because it's doing it for me right now.
Also, I would probably end up enjoying organizing the receipts and transferring things to quick books. I found myself jealous of her for that lol

3.5 stars. This started off really slow. The hero and heroine barely said two words to each other for the first 30% of the book. It got better after that though.

Beautiful!

What a sweet and sensual story of love, loss, lies, hope and reconciliation ❤️

She come back to town for her grandmothers memorial service and finds the love of her life with the one man she had thought she had to hate all this time.

I loved how they got together and how he helped her heal her heart.

Her dad seems like such an amazing man also!

I am so intrigued by Dallas too! Gonna go find her story lol

Oh my heart!

This book was soooo good.

I don’t even care that the male narrator was a little annoying. I needed my heart warmed and this book gave me that, so today will sleep a happy girl.

I won’t dive too much into the story but I just wanna comment that I loved the FMC. I found her so mature. In the beginning she was kinda all over the place emotionally but it’s completely understandable given the situation. But as her relationship with her family evolves I liked that she was able to see her misconceptions, to forgive, to communicate (which is important ‘cause I hate stupid miscommunication drama).

Anyways, it was that kind of book you need when you’re kinda sour and looking for some love and comfort. I needed that. Thanks to everyone involved.

Goodreads is deleting my review on purpose, so here we go again. This is a badly military "romance" book about two boring white people with no chemistry.

Give me all the small town romance series! Such a quick read! Sophie and Braxton are the perfect enemies to lovers! These 2 played with my heart so much!

I really enjoyed this in audio which is where I picked this up I just think it would've benefitted from being longer, especially after Sophie and Braxton got together.. it felt like waiting over half of the book for a very rushed resolution, and it's the same with the main intrigue of the book.. Once the secret came out  it was so quickly resolved it made no sense. It was a big swcret and affexted her whole life and then boom it was like ok. Overall it's a good start to a small town series.
