Overall this was an okay book. I’d recommend it to people who like romance stories. It was the standard romance book format, with plenty of steam and supernatural shifters. The initial steamy encounter was a bit weird. There wasn’t a clear “we are entering into a relationship” moment. It wasn’t rapey, there was clear consent it just felt like it came out of nowhere. There was an interesting side criminal case that added to the story for sure!

This book was so cozy! I loved how the author made every character feel unique. The relationship between the two main characters did seem a bit rushed, though.
