The writing was a little fast for me, I would’ve preferred there be more depth in some scenes, as a lot of the time it felt quite rushed. But nevertheless this book was a great book that I enjoyed. It felt like a filler book, like a book I’d read in between big series to give myself a break from trying to understand a lot of information

Eh, it was fine, but I won't go in with the series. 
It's a quick read with a HEA. But I am so confused by the Russian FMC... not knowing Russian? What?

I am blown away with how much I loved this book. The plot, the characters, the dialogue, hell even the little chihuahua all completely impressed me. There are some darker themes but it’s a morally neutral grey and Roman is SO HOT.

I love Roman and Ninas banter omg!!! Nina, is an artist who is blackmailed into marrying the head of the Russian mafia after her father embezzled 3 million dollars. Roman, is the leader of the Russian mob who is learning how to walk after an explosion that destroyed his knee. I love this book. I was kicking my feet and giggling the whole time. My only issue is the whole "Nina is like a sprite she's so small" thing. It's weird anytime an author does this and Nina is not an exception unfortunately. Otherwise the banter, plot, and conclusion were all awesome and it was a fun read overall.

This is somehow not a dark romance even with the love interest being a mafia boss.

I enjoyed that there were no cnc scenes and I believe this book could be recommended to people who want to find out if they could like dark romances, because this book definitely has the glorification of violence typical for dark romances, but without the relationship between the fMC and mMC being dark as he treats her very respectfully, does not cross any of her boundaries and so on...

The fMC is not involved at all in the mafia business and while her ability to play other characters is cool she is not giving...bad bitch

- he falls first and harder
- like a mafia romance but make it hallmark with sex scenes (not that much depth but the romance was sweet)
- spice 1/5 (not that low of a quantity but not very detailed and quite vanilla, no tension was created so even the open door scenes were boring)
