The writing was a little fast for me, I would’ve preferred there be more depth in some scenes, as a lot of the time it felt quite rushed. But nevertheless this book was a great book that I enjoyed. It felt like a filler book, like a book I’d read in between big series to give myself a break from trying to understand a lot of information

I felt like some of the bedroom scenes were rushed. Some of the sentences were choppy, but overall it was a fun read. I think if it had been a bit longer, and the mystery aspect of it (who caused his "accident") more of a guessing game, I would've enjoyed it more. If it was longer it also wouldn't have been insta-love. Overall though, I liked it and would read it again.

Was this the most exceptionally written mafia romance I've ever read? Nope.

But did I love every second of this book because it gave me the exact mafia vibes I was craving? Hell yes.

In this first book in the Perfectly Imperfect series, our heroine Nina reluctantly gets into an arranged marriage with Roman, the pakhan of the Russian mafia, as payment for his father doing him wrong.

This was a fast-paced mafia romance that's quick to get through and love. I adored how the big broody mafia boss showed his soft side for his wife and his wife alone. Roman immediately realized that a man did something unwanted to Nina in the past, and he was so understanding and patient in helping her get through it. His protective instincts were unmatched and oh so swoonworthy!

On the flip side, Nina was this fiery character who was definitely the perfect match for Roman. I loved that she was so patient with him in making him realize that his worth isn't determined by whether or not he had a disability and that she would love him regardless. I also loved that she not only grew to fall in love with her husband, but she also found a family in the household staff.

Their romance was equally sweet and spicy, and I enjoyed it for the most part. What I didn't quite enjoy is how the last part felt a little too snappy for my taste. But I'm willing to let it slide for how much I ate up the story and the world overall.

All in all, I think it's safe to say that I have a new mafia romance series to get through!

Let’s just say, some scenes actually made me giggle and some made me die from second-hand embarrassment.

Anyway all in all this book was okay. It did gave me the ick multiple times but I’d recommend to people who want to have cringey wattpad stories, standing on there bookshelves.
