Was it good? No. Was it deeply romantic? No. Was it fast-paced without any depth and did it have a cringe vibe? Absolutely. And yet, I. Couldnāt. Stop. Reading. It. I laughed out loud several times and I donāt even know why.
Roman is a walking red flag and still there were moments where I found him kinda sweet and I felt so bad for him that I wanted to cry. Like, why did I just want to hug this man?? Make it make sense.
I rated this book 4āļø This book is very short and has pure guilty pleasure vibes and I would definitely recommend it. But donāt have high expectations.

I smiled a lot while reading! Just our typical mafia man, ātouch her and you dieā antics.
I honestly enjoyed our FMC Nina, she was a little feisty and was intelligent .. (but how dare the mean mafia man that she loves kill somebody in front of her!!!)

Sadly I was bored and disconnected from this book. Considering this was supposed to be a forced marriage of convenience I expected a bit more hatred and anger from the fmc towards the mmc, instead we get a hefty amount of fast paced, insta-lust.
HOWEVER, I do see potential for future books, and people rave about this series so Iāll continue it at some point.

started this series because of multiple good reviews on tiktok and was disappointed. I did not understand the main characters attraction towards each other and did not like them individually.
