I read this book in sixth grade & reread it in middle school & high school.
I have not read it sense so it probably has not aged well but I give it 5 stars until I reread it.

It was one of my favorites of the royal diaries series which were historic fiction on important women through history in a diary format.

Loved this so much when I read it for the first time in fifth grade. It ended up not being my absolute favorite in the end, but I still really like it.

This was a re-read, but it's been forever since I read it so I had definitely forgotten everything.  I really enjoyed the story, but not as much as some of the other books that I've read.  I liked Cleopatra as a narrator, and the machinations that happened behind the scenes to position her into a place of power.  She's a fascinating historical figure.

LOVED IT! Seeing how life was like, her determination, her sisters, romans, her AWESOME PET... one of the best in the royal diaries collection in my opinion.

Diary of a young Cleopatra.
