the TENSION between these two was immaculate!! i was eating up their interactions and i love that they had some history prior to the novella's setting. also the mutual pining was TOP tier!

⚠️: death of parent, grief, cancer, biphobia, animal death, injury/injury detail, self harm

It’s the second day of July and and I maybe already found my favorite book of the month? And it’s a #SnowedIn book? 🤷🏽‍♀️❄️😎 A compelling combination of sweetness and sharp edges, this is my favorite book from Anita Kelly so far. And the first book I’ve read in a while that really just sucked me in, I was late to work because I couldn’t put it down, lol. #NoRegrets Trying to explain what I love about, Our Favorite Songs, is too full of specifics to put in a spoiler free review. But, trust me, this is the perfect snowed in novella, full of those moments that feel out of time and space that leave the characters slightly less the people they thought they were just a moment ago, and more the people they actually are.
