West tortured billionaire wants doesn't want to want Jessie Kay but oh boy howdy he sooooo does. And she wants Mr. West right back.
Both their pasts are in the way of there happiness of being together. She doesn't want his regular 2 months. And he doesn't want to give up his self mad prison.
This book is so witty with all its one liners I laughter and re read parts. They both feel like they have to do things to keep there family/friends happy even if it's not truly want they want.
You have to love that we get to see all our favourite character's again and again like I said with book 2 it's seamless. The story just picks right back up but with another set of characters ready for there HEA.
I was sad when this book need I want more of this fun loving bunch of mix and matched friends.

Def re read material

This was an awesome story! West and Jessie Kay had such a wonderful story filled with animosity, lust, and need... and so much emotion and love. Great addition to the series!

I thought Jessie Kay and West were really good characters. I loved Jessie Kay. She'd made so many changes in her life and I loved how far she’d come. West was an intense and complicated man. He could be so hard headed but I understood why. I loved the animosity they had in the beginning and the attraction that was hidden behind it. It made for a lot of fun, playful scenes. Them opening up and letting down there guard was fantastic, as well as a bit heartbreaking and emotional. West had such a sad past and I really enjoyed learning his history, watching him open up to Jessica Kay, fight his demons, and let go of guilt. I love the changes that openness brought about, I adored seeing the softer sides of them.

The writing was so good. Loved the details and development. I was on the edge of my seat when it came to West and his history. He was just so demanding and controlling because of his past, which could seem way over the top, so I couldn't wait for him to get to that point of acceptance and lighten up. Getting there stressed me out. He was a hard character to love but I got there in the end. I really liked him throughout but he frustrated me because he was so freaking stubborn. Him getting to that moment of opening up was defiantly worth the wait though!

I thought the first was a bit slow but that might have been me getting annoyed with West about the situation. The second half had a much better pace and was super sweet… and when West really started to make me melt. There's some drama mixed as well that kept things moving along well and was a nice addition to the story.

Really great read with likable characters that had the right mix of fun and drama mixed in with a lot of love and emotion. I am loving this series!

Somehow I missed this installment when I was reading the series, and I'm not really sure how I did that considering Jessie Kay is one of my favorite characters of the series. I really should be doing some TBR challenge because I'm really going through all the books I've purchased but haven't gotten to.

In The Harder You Fall, we have two characters who are totally ashamed of their pasts and each have restrictions that have imposed on themselves to try and make up for those pasts. The thing is, most of the things they are punishing themselves for have already long been forgiven by those they feel they have harmed. That made this story a bit frustrating. Especially with West. I felt like he was torturing himself for no reason. He struggles to get Jessie Kay to fall into his self-imposed restrictions but that just isn't happening. Jessie Kay has decided that she is not longer that party girl that let herself get into what she hoped were relationships but that never turned out to be. She wants a relationship like her parents had and is determined that unless West gets rid of his restrictions, that relationship is just not going to be with him. Jessie Kay is stubborn and I love that. She really stuck it out with West as he struggled with the collision of his feelings for Jessie Kay and his rules.

There is some suspense with a crazy woman who is determined to have West and that Jessie Kay is in the way. It is kind of on the side but causes even more of a problem between the couple. It takes the wits of West and Jessie Kay's friends to take care of the problem and I really loved how everyone was there and ready to stand up for them.

I also really loved Jessie Kay and Daniel's friendship. It was so great that she was able to take something that could have been uncomfortable and made it into a relationship that was good for both of them. Jessie Kay needed a friend in this new life she was living and she got that with Daniel. They were there for each other and made great friends, despite West's objections.

The communications and texts between Jessie Kay, West and others always made me laugh. Jessie Kay may claim to be electronically challenged, but she knows how to text and use those smiley face emojis. It was great fun and I loved every minute.

I was so glad to finally have Jessie Kay and West's story. It was great to see all the characters from the first two books and get Harlow and Beck's surprise. I listened to the audiobooks and Savannah Richards did a really good southern girl accent with Jessie Kay. It wasn't overdone at all. It was an enjoyable listen and I'm glad I picked it up in this format. This review was originally posted on Rantings of a Reading Addict

Helloooo.. Hadapi problem dengan style manly man!!!

description

Aku cinta anti hero!! More than West do!

Rahasia dan penyebab rule super aneh West membuatku rolling my eyes so hard. Good but not perfect.

My Rating:
Star : 3.5/5
Bikini : 2.5/5

This book didn't annoy me as much as I thought it might... Both West and Jessie Kay haven't been very likable in the other books, but they rocked this one!
