I do love a good cheesy romance book however this definitely wasn't the best for me. I feel like their connection was just a bit quick to come and the ending felt a bit too long. This book could have ended like after 50 pages.

Such a devourable read! This story was exactly what I wanted and needed. I truly liked Grace and Noah. It was such a fun progression from annoying neighbors, to friends, to so much more. They both have such polar opposite personalities, but they just click so well. It was entertaining to watch unfold. Sophie knows how to bring the banter between her characters to life and I always enjoy reading her stories!

Special thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for sharing this digital reviewer copy with me in exchange my honest opinions.

I gave it over 100 pages and I just can’t. The characters are okay. The plot is okay. The everything is just okay. I’m skimming and zoning out. Really and truly wanted to like this, so I’m so bummed.

The cover is adorable!

You can never go wrong with a grumpy/sunshine, enemies-to-lovers romance! I do wish the rivalry had lasted a little longer and that there was more grumpiness to build more tension, but otherwise this was a cute read. The home renovation aspects were fun. The side characters and found family were heart warming. They were probably my favorite part of the story! The HEA was sweet and I loved how Grace and Noah grew together as people. Overall, it was a decent read! Definitely a good palate cleanser after an intense fantasy read.
