This book sucked me in from the first story Darius told as his wit and outlook intrigued me. The story of how he managed his depression while his father, who he continued to feel as lacking with, battled his own... and in the midst of all that a trip to Iran to meet his dying grandfather.... Yep, tears. Laughter. Tears.

The book has good character development for just Darius but every other character stays the same and are pretty boring. The book is very hard to relate to because of the setting and the culture that the book includes.

The book is heavily focused on Darious and his depression. He faces challenges throughout the book, but the book goes very in depth about this, which makes this book amazing.
