i’m giving this book a slightly higher rating for the plot twist i didnt see coming, though the clichés in this book are what drag down the rest of it. the back and forth of the two main characters is getting a little tiresome.

Second read: I enjoyed this book let this time reading it. But I did still Enjoy it. I feel like it could have ALOT shorter because so much of it was fluff or the same thing over and over again. The first time I read this I gave it 5 stars, now I am giving it 3. I found myself putting this book down a lot where usually I just read the whole book through to the end, or in the case of how big this one is 2 days. But this book took me 4 days to finish, which for me is a long time.

First read: Oh boy was this book ever a roller coaster! It was so long and filled with so much! I don’t even know what to properly write about in this review, I just can’t even! This book was amazing and every time this author brings out a cliff hanger I’m not expecting it. The end when we find out that Vance is Hardin’s father, not Ken like we thought this whole time. I thought there going to tell us that Smith was Trish and Vance’s son. And the fact that Tessa’s dad is a alcoholic and a drug addict and homeless! Geez, that’s a lot to grasp!
I can’t wait to read the rest of the series

A little bit boring at parts, I found myself skimming a lot. Good plot though, and the interesting parts were always very captivating.
