Definitely a good relaxing hockey romance to read! Kind of insta-lovey and I’m not really vibing with the writing style hence the rating. It wasn’t bad by any means I just kind of felt like I was dragging trying to make myself read at times! kind of low stakes plot but overall lighthearted and enjoyable.

This book was the epitome of a romance novel. I felt these characters' destiny and love in every breath they took, in every word Tal Bauer put on the page. This book sent my heart soaring, then lurching, then soaring again. It was everything.

Another first author for me and as I’m on a ice hockey book binge I started with this and it did not disappoint . Bryce and Hunter were stubborn at the start but soon realised what they both wanted , the team were perfect and stood by their captain through everything .

I really enjoyed this book.  Do I understand anything about hockey, or sports in general? No, absolutely not.   But that didn't matter one bit because I became so invested in the relationship that developed between Hunter and Bryce.  My favorite types of romances are really sweet romances and while Bryce and Hunter had a rocky start, once they got together the bond that forms between them is so sweet and genuine.  I like how they were both each others first experience with a man and their first time together was so sweet.  I also am such a sucker for when someone gets sick or hurt so their love interest has to take care of them so naturally I was so invested when Bryce got injured and Hunter was there for him an taking care of him.  I also loved that when Hunter and Bryce's relationship was revealed that it was such a non tissue for the time and everyone seemed supportive of them.  Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I'm definitely interested in reading more from this author because I've enjoyed every book I've read by them so far.
