I’ve had this one in my TBR for a while but wanted to be in the right frame of mind to read it. I figure during the Stanley Cup finals is a good time.

This is such a wonderful story. So emotional and so well written. I felt as if I was feeling every doubt and moment of confusion or angst the MCs had. I loved the way the story arc moved and the use of a crisis point so early in the story, setting up the second chance.

The major crisis point late in the book caused me to hold my breath and my heart to race. Such tension!

The ending is wonderful and sweet. This book has it all. I can’t recommend it highly enough, especially if you are a hockey fan as the sports action is well done.

Super cute MM hockey romance. Tal Bauer writes really complex characters that you just have to root for

OMG I loved this. Bryce and Hunter have stolen my heart - just like they stole each other's. They were honestly so sweet together. Their first meeting had me grinning like a fool; Bryce was so confident and kind while Hunter was awkward but sweet. Their connection was immediate and goodness how quickly they fell for one another. I was just so invested in them as a couple and every stolen moment they had together. And that one hockey game? Talk about putting your reader through it. Sheesh. But then it was everything that came after it too. Such a satisfying and beautiful conclusion for this couple. Seriously, I love them so much.

Not clicking with the writing style and I don’t love the idea of this dude dating someone he’s apparently been obsessed with since he was a teen. Feels icky.
