That was some weird shit. A little predictable if I’m being honest. Although I didn’t guess the big twist at the end. Weird. And gross.

Had a mix of humor and horror. I had to put the book down at one chapter, which was arguably worse than the others (aside from the ending). You definitely need a strong stomach for this one, but it wasn’t as horrific as I thought (still VERY horrific, though.)

it reminded me of a story a high school boy would write to try and get a reaction out of his teacher. predictable and gross just for shock factor. my only positive comment is that there was no animal abuse. PLEASE please check trigger warnings before you read this though!!

So I did mostly enjoy Woom, I think. There were 100% a couple of absolutely toe curling moments, but, I think I may have been reading too much splatter punk recently because nothing came as *super* shocking.

There was a slight twist (more of a reveal) that worked really well, but I did find a fair few of the stories to be a little predictable.

Also shout out to Shyla, the plus sized prostitute who is apparently colour blind cause girl those flags you were missing? They were red as heck yo

What. The. Fuck. Why did I want to read this again? It’s fucked up on sooo many levels which is the point, but I wanted it to be scary and creepy, instead it’s like pervert creepy. No bueno. The story of Mary was so hard to read, it made me feel physically sick. And I hated the ending. You’re telling me after everything Shyla just went through and listened to that she would feel compassion?! Ugh
