My son loves rabbits. And the cover got me anyway with the question: is it a duck or is it a rabbit? Very clever book and perfect to read with your new reader with the both of you alternating voices.

My 3 year old liked figuring out the opposing perspectives, but so did my high school students! In fact, they continued bantering back and forth about which it actually was, and they were so upset there wasn't a concrete answer. That makes it great, in my opinion.

A clever little book utilizing the famous duck/rabbit drawing. Good for about the 1-2 grade level, it does a good job exploring differences of perception and experience. While a banal lesson for any adult, children can sometimes be very dogmatic and find it hard to understand that some things can be given more than one interpretation without those interpretations needing to come into conflict.

Darling. I love books that deal with perspective and I think children must find this book irresistible.
