this book was really really slow paced, and it wasn’t for me but the writing was very good. the plot was okay…  but 4/5 through the book and still in my mind i was like “has anything even happened yet??” maybe it was the skill of the author slyly sliding in progress or actually nothing has happened yet. and the plot twist… the plot twist was over a few pages unlike the majority of books where it occurs in one sentence. that kind of killed it for me but it was also cool when i went back to check foreshadowing and it was apparent! i dont know why but I didnt pick up on those hints. overall, okay plot, could be executed better. i do think the messages in it are important i just didnt like the way it was delivered to us

I loved this book but I really did not expect the twist.

I thought it would be something akin to A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, where a killer is revealed to be within their midst. However, it ended up just being a horrific tragedy killing 3 people. That twist was not as fun or exciting, but more depressing. I'm not saying it's bad, it just went a very different direction than I was expecting.

This books seems slow and tame to start, but it is not. It is so sad but the writing is incredibly beautiful and gives meaning to the story in an incredible way. Not for the faint of heart/

ITS SO SO GOOD, i never saw the plot ending, i hated the ending but it was what made the book so loveable and rereadble; once you read the plot twist itll make you wanna reread it and notice things and it would change your whole mindset the second time reading it. The end made me sad and mad but it was what made the book different from others. The other parts were not as intriguing but I promise just read to the end.
