it’s an okay book. there’s a point where greek retellings are tricky to write — how do you keep the original myth alive and true while creating a story with modern ideals and a modern audience? jennifer saint does a good job trying to balance classic with modern ideals; still, i wanted a little more, idk what, just something more. it was missing something

While I really enjoyed this, I felt a little unsatisfied with the ending.

The way the author described Dionysus I loved so much, like wow, people should describe the main love interest like this more. Even if he was a god and stuff.
Found story a bit boring but a decent read I must say.
