Reading Dolly Alderton is always a fun adventure, and this book definitely was a fun ride. It was a bit hard for me to engage with the main character, as I'm not used to read books from the perspective from male narrators anymore, but Dolly did a great job creating this funny, sad and going insane man. Definitely would recommend this book to someone going through a breakup, as we have all been through the madness sometimes and this book depicts it perfectly.

Boy. I was not expecting the plot of this book. Based on the cover I thought it was going to be a quick romance read. I was very wrong. The Brit’s grieve and live very differently from Americans.

Might recommend.

Was happily surprised by how realistic the characters and their choices were. Despite rooting for Andy I found a lot of his decisions frustrating but ultimately believable. The last quarter of the book was especially enlightening as we hear from Jen's perspective what went "wrong," or rather what wasn't right enough. A refreshingly honest and "happy ending" that doesn't follow the formula we've all become accustomed to.

I love the way this woman writes. I really feel like I know and actually get the characters. I loved the way this book was split into dual narrative. Andy is an unreliable narrator!
Dolly's characters come to life, and not just the main characters but all the side characters too.

i liked this book it was engaging and fun to read and of course i thought andy was a knob but this book is definitely Fleishman Is in Trouble for millennials
