THE REVIEW

Why this book?
I liked the first book in the series

What I thought

This book wasn’t as good as the first, but it still was good. This book was intense it was like riding a rollercoaster. Sometimes you had step back and take a breath. Nalia herself goes through so many emotional trials, but somehow they make her stronger. Nalia and Raifs relationship becomes more solid even though it suffers a little. What I found refreshing in this book is that Jinn don’t love by gender they just love, there are no labels of sexuality. What I didn’t find refreshing is the way Nalia acts half the book, yeah you’re going through a lot, but you don’t have to be so annoying! What really broke my heart is what Malek gave away to get his amulet. The thing he loved the most
was his twin brother; being a twin myself that really bothered me. Nobody understands the relationship between twins like another twin. When they said the thing you loved the most in the first book, my first thought was my twin. So it turning out to be his twin was too much!
Heather Demetrios is a great writer and she writes a captivating and entertaining story. A great sequel to a great book!
