It was so nice to be back in this world again. I hadn't realized how much I had missed it after taking a month off from reading them, but WOW. I finished this book and immediately started to scream. I feel like the real battle has officially begun and so much happened. I'm listing some spoiler-ey things for my own benefit so I remember everything that went down:
2) Sam is back!! Thank the Lord above. I love Sam so much, and getting into his head as a POV character in this book made me happy. I want his relationship with Six to progress into something more than what it is because I SHIP IT.
3) Adam has found the gang!!!! MY DEAR SWEET SUMMER CHILD ADAM I LOVE YOU.
4) Who is Ella?
5) My favourite part: Marina discovering she has ice powers after Eight dies, and taking out one of Five's eyes before telling him, "If I see you again, you traitorous bastard, I'll take the other fucking eye." God damn, Marina, you have grown into such an amazing character. I love seeing you progress, I love you.
Okay, so I know this review was absolute trash and incoherent, but my brain is a mess after reading it and all I have to say is that you need to invest in this series. I still find the dialogue weak and sometimes the characters are very Mary-Sue, but wow wow wow wow wow wow. The plot and action more than makes up for it.

1) EIGHT IS DEAD. Honestly, he wasn't my favourite Loric, but the fact that he died made my heart hurt. And the fact that Five was the one who killed him...a big ouch.2) Sam is back!! Definitely a quick read and definitely enjoyable. The author has broken down the chapters more in this work so it makes for easier reading. And also it's interesting how the plot twists at the end. One of the main characters die, one works for the other side and one of them is captured. The next book in the series will definitely be interesting.
