I'm not completely caught up on comic book Spider-man, so I'm maybe missing a little bit of the backstory, but I really really loved this. Miles Morales is amazing, and I'm really excited to read more about non-Peter Spiderman.
so dang good. Miles Morales is the coolest character. I've never been disappointed or less than enthralled by any of his stories. here's hoping he makes it to the MCU in a meaningful way soon.
I continue to absolutely love the Miles Morales arcs of Ultimate Spider-Man. With that said, this apparent reboot of Spidey yet again might be my favorite Miles arc yet. We have Peter Parker back for some reason (this, for the record, doesn't happen in the Ultimate 'verse), and it's creating a good amount of chaos and disorder.
And I love it.
It's breathed new life into a character that I didn't really think needed it, but still establishes the story as probably the most essential comic story going right now. The idea that they'll possibly be pulling from this material for future Spidey movies is great because these stories are great, and that's what matters. If you haven't jumped on board yet, now is a great time as any to do so,

I was tearing through the pages of this and I need the next volume like, yesterday.
I will be the first to admit that while I find the Spiderman comics mildly amusing, they get old fast. At least for me. A little goes a long way. I love comics, I love Marvel, but I don't like every single hero. But I found a list of 25 comics the author thought everyone should read - and I like a challenge. Not so-surprisingly (to me, anyways), I had read all but three of the series on this list.. Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spiderman being one of them. And you know what? It was pretty good. I will be searching out the next volume.
