I. Loved. It. I’m genuinely so sad it is over because I’ve spent the last three months reading this series and genuinely it had been amazing. All of the plot twists surprises and just suspense has kept me on the edge of my seat. I think this has become one of my favorite series ever. I’m just a little sad. Aelin lost all her power and there all going their separate ways. :( This series will live on for a WHILE in my head.

SO many things I could go on and on about this book and this series. The perfect ending to such an AMAZING series! Still a little heartbroken, but happy. I wish there was an epilogue or novella for like a year after the ending to update on all my favorite characters and storylines for how things have played out for them, their lives and their kingdoms. Im left smiling, but wanting a more. SJM thank you so much for introducing me to fantasy through this amazing work of art and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of your books!

Oh my gosh, where do I even begin?! This book had me STRESSED!!! Aelin getting captured and tortured?!?! I would not have lasted so shout out to our girl. Dorian had me fooled with the Maeve alliance, I was either thinking Maeve had a change of heart or he had something up his sleeve. I hate Maeve, glad her and erawan are gone. The whole battle, woof. Yrene and chaol?! Love love. I was so sad when the 13 sacrificed themselves :( there were some parts I was confused on but I just smiled and nodded and kept reading. I’m so happy they all got their happy ending, they deserve it. I would love a story on them raising their kids bc I would love to see our pookies being dads. Rowan and Lorcan are everything to me. I’m so sad to be done with this series but it was so good!! Bye bye my tog friends :(

Okay, so it’s been a while since I finished this book and I’m just now emotionally settled enough to write a review lol. This book was an absolutely spectacular finale to an amazing series. This series truly means so much to me and I am so happy to finally have closure on my favorite characters. I can’t say that this is my absolute favorite book in the series (I believe that title goes to Queen of Shadows) but I couldn’t have asked for a better ending. This took me so long to read because all I seemed capable of doing during the last 200 pages was cry, but I did it! I will forever love this series and I’m already planning a reread! All I can say is that this book was EPIC and all of the character kicked some major valg butt!
