Now Gideon!!!! This man! This man! This beautiful man!!! I can't say anything else about him without spoiling the story. I have so many thoughts about this ending. I'm stunned and thrilled and just so excited for Entwined with You. So Sylvia Day, you wrote a brilliant sequel. I loved it! Thank you.

Goodness gracious! I have emotional whiplash. I sure do hope that Gideon and Eva can get their shit together for good in the next book. I think I liked this one better than the 1st one. But this one definitely put me through the emotional ringer and made me read faster and faster! Sorry, I'm not making a whole lot of sense with this review....
Sono un po' combattuta riguardo questo libro, e anche il primo della serie non è che mi avesse proprio convinto...Da una parte abbiamo una rilettura senza il BDSM di 50 shades, con due persone estremamente disturbate che cercano di costruire una relazione, dall'altra abbiamo una donna che si fa mettere i piedi in testa e personalmente non l'apprezzo. E' possibile che "in nome dell'amore" una debba diventare schiava di uno psicopatico narcisista, perchè se c'è una cosa verosimile nel libro è la diagnosi di Gideon, solo perchè da piccola ha subito un abuso? A questo punto bisogna anche affermare che lei è decisamente borderline, quindi in qualche modo le due personalità si equilibrano un pochino. Chiaramente l'assassinio rimette tutto in discussione, ma siccome è una "storia d'amore" è chiaro che lei farà finta di niente anche stavolta, mi fido di te, quindi non è poi così importante che tu uccidi qualcuno, in fondo l'hai fatto perchè mi ami e magari una denuncia non sarebbe bastata. Contenta lei...Non lo so, mi sembra tutto particolarmente eccessivo, tutti troppo belli, troppo ricchi, troppo gentili, insomma troppo di tutto, compresa troppa troppissima nevrosi....

Holy hell. I expected this to be another smutty, indulgent read. It was so much more (there was still some quality smut, so don't fret). There were parts that honestly made my heart ache; I wanted to slap both Eva and Giddeon equally- their relationship is maddening, but each one of them has their motives. Quality- this book was seriously quality.
Way too over the top for most of the book. Luckily I liked the characters enough to push myself to the end, which did improve. But honestly, so much angst and drama.
