Very beautiful book, very interesting for all the Harry Potter fans out there.
This book is definitely worth it's money - if only for the little pieces of paraphernalia inside it: the Marauder's Map, a collection of Educational Decrees and more. But to add to that an insight into the creation of the films - especially the production designer, Stuart Craig's designs - made it absolutely wonderful.
Very cool book! I love the little extras. I only with that the essays and writings were better. Overall, I am very happy my Dad gave this book!
Harry Potter: suuri velhouskirja on nuorille suunnattu tietokirja Harry Potter -elokuvista. Kuvakylläinen kirja on viihdyttävä, ihan mukava ja melko nopea lukea, ja siitä löytyy kiinnostavaa tietoa Harry Pottereiden siirtämisestä valkokankaalle.
Kirja jää kuitenkin vähän kömpelöksi, ja muutamat virheet tekstissä sekä harhaanjohtavat kuvatekstit olivat mielestäni tylsä virhe. Lisäksi kirjassa saatettiin puhua esimerkiksi jonkun puvusta, mutta sitten siitä ei löytynytkään kuvaa. Kirjan välissä on erinäisiä irrotettavia elokuvasta tuttuja lippuja ja lappuja, jotka välillä vähän hankaloittivat lukemista.
Pääasiassa kuitenkin ihan hyvä ja kiinnostava, mutta hieman huolimattomasti ehkä toteutettu.

I bought this at the Harry Potter studios in London, and I still can’t believe I never heard of this book before. Everything is expensive there, but I actual didn’t find this book to be that expensive. You get a lot of super awesome gadgets, like a marauders map and an invitation to the Yule ball (I’m not going to spoil everything here, but trust me it is worth your money!)
Someone put a lot of hours of work in this piece of magic and it shows. It is incredibly detailed and every page is a new discovery. It is designed by the designers of the film sets and that makes it even more of a collectors item.
It is completely about the films. That means there are a lot of stories you would never get to know otherwise. There are funny stories about first kisses on set and emotional stories about the last film and how they became a real family on set.
If you are a Harry Potter fan, you need to read this book right now!
