edit: oop apparently this author is a plagiariser! 1 star for being a bad person. victoria lancet has a character named allegra that lures the fmc into getting kidnapped by alluding harm has come to a sibling. that's just way too obvious. literally the same name? come on. also used the names catalina, sisi, and lina/lena...like....all in the same book babe? really?

3.5 stars. okay i think this is the strongest book of the four i’ve read from the series so far. the issues i had with the previous books so far as pacing and glossing over certain parts of the relationship were lesser in this one. bianca and mikhail were cute. i do think this book should’ve been longer to further explore a few issues though.

It was nothing special. I wanted to read something that didn't take a lot of brain power and was short after reading Blood Mercy and it was exactly that. I thought it would've been better than it was from all the Booktok videos. I think I'll put this book in the meh category.
