I also didn’t really like the development of their characters - Bianca didn’t really struggle with being married to a stranger all that much and I didn’t really like how it’s implied that Mikhail loathed any kind of physical touch but in 0.1 seconds he is comfortable with Bianca touching him? I feel like the characters had so much potential but with the length of the book being so short it (understandably) didn’t happen.
I also wish the relationship between Bianca and Lena was more explored - I think it would be so cute to watch the relationship blossom. I wasn’t a fan of them agreeing that Lena could call Bianca mom and that she does but we didn’t get to see that conversation play out.
(Also I was hoping that the sex scenes would get better - or that maybe instead of getting a couple scenes we would get just a very well written one - that didn’t happen. Kinda bummed about that.)
FINAL THOUGHT: I wish the book was longer and the plot/characters where more developed.

I absolutely loved this book! There's just something about Mikhail hating being touched, only to love Bianca touching him. Bianca was able to bring him out of his shell and teach him that he deserved to be loved the way she loves him. Also, Mikhail being so completely and utterly obsessed with her was everything!! These two were genuinely so perfect for each other.

I went into this book expecting a dark romance, and while there were dark elements that did not overshadow the whole book. I expected Mikhail to be dark, hard, gruff, and unbending. Instead, he was sweet and considerate in a way that just melted my heart. I loved how perfect he was for Bianca and how utterly adorable these two were.
I think the best part of this whole book was just watching these two start to trust each other and connect. Their relationship was so beyond sweet, and I will never be over it!!! I think I loved it so much because the care between these two was so pure and sweet. 10/10 did enjoy this experience!
