Although I haven’t read book one I defiantly feel like I didn’t need to.
Although I’m giving this four stars I do wish there was more character background going on.
If you’re new to mafia romance and aren’t sure if you’ll like it this is a great start, it’s not a dark romance but it’s a dark lifestyle. I enjoyed the read, and completed it within a few hours. There’s 20 chapters which flick between POV’s often.
Mikhail is the bratva’s interrogation expert and Bianca is a pawn in her fathers games.
I’m quite happy the next one is focused on Sergei, I’m looking forward to reading about him.

He’s like my favorite type of mafia man. Broody & mean but soft & gooey on the inside for his girl. So hot. This was good, nothing I feel compelled to hurry & finish the series but I really liked it & finished in one sitting.
