I think this book might be my favorite one out of the series. It's exhausting to read, they all are, but it's filled with humor and sadness and the realities of the human condition, and a little bit of things going right.
I can tell Jason Pargin just wants to make people laugh, and at the end of it all he wants to write things that bring light into the world, in his own fucked up way. His books are very unique for that- wholesome, yet terrifyingly real, covered in absurdist humor and existential dread.

If you know who Jason Pargin/David Wong is, you know what you are getting into with regards to content warnings. If this author is new to you, go read some of his old Cracked articles (David Wong is his pen name) and if you can't get through those, these books aren't for you.
